The Fido Club is a loose-knit organization in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, devoted to in-home dining. We organize dinners for approximately 8-16 people who regularly gather once a week or once a month to have dinner together at a member’s house.

The original concept is that the people of a group will alternate hosting dinner and the actual cost of the dinner will be split by all attending. The dinners are BYOB and quite informal.

We have no pattern for this organization so we are developing it as we go. Our first organized group is a success and we have been asked to expand and this website is an effort to facilitate this expansion.

This is a not-for-profit operation. No one makes any money off of it. The individual diners at any particular dinner split the actual costs for the ingredients of that dinner. Actual costs for the dinners we’ve had have been between 40 and 80 pesos per person. These dinners have all been wonderful and worth many times the amount we paid. The company is even more valuable.
